Our Cheyenne Hornets 8th grade team has been competing in Power to Play leagues and tournaments since their 5th grade year. We played in your Fall league, and just finished your tournament this past weekend. As we were walking out of the Windsor facility Sunday, it hit me pretty hard and made me sad to think we are about finished with our club basketball days, because the high school will take over the girls basketball "careers" starting in a few months.
Our Hornets team has been fortunate enough to win 12 Power to Play tourney events. Every girl on our team has their own Power to Play basketball trophy, plus a few extra. In tournaments like this past weekend, we have played very solid big name club teams. This high level competition has been incredibly good for our girls. I really feel like games such as the three difficult ones we had this past Sunday have prepared our girls to compete effectively at the varsity high school level early in their high school careers. Several of the girls on our team may even have an opportunity to play basketball after high school. When these girls do experience success in high school, and if they do get an opportunity to play after high school, they owe your Power to Play leagues and tournaments and you a huge debt of gratitude. We could not have gotten our team in the competitive place it is now without making all those trips to Greeley and the surrounding area over the past four years to compete in Power to Play events. As I look back on it, your leagues and tourneys were an incredible opportunity for our players to play against the top girls in the region, and develop the skills necessary to be successful in basketball.
Your Power to Play program has been well worth our time and money, and we would gladly do it all again.
John Stellern, Cheyenne Hornets
"Just wanted to thank you for the tournament today (Fall Championships). It was one of the most well run that I have every been part. Keep up the great work and coaches like me appreciate all of your hard work!"
Joel McCracken, Sterling Streak
"I just wanted to let you know your tournament this weekend was first class as always. We really enjoyed our time in Loveland. The caliber of competition was great and the quality of officiating was excellent. It makes a big difference when you have experienced, "patched" officials running the show. Thanks again for a great tournament".
Brady Dalby, Green Mountain Soldiers
"Your hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed. You can count on us being apart of your tournaments in the future. Loyalty is something that my brother and I cherish, and it's good to hear that we are not alone. Keep up the good work and just know that we are behind you and that you will have our business in the future." , Michael, B and B Basketball
"I just wanted to extend my appreciation and thanks to you and your staff. The tournaments are always AWESOME and the atmosphere for the kids is AMAZING! Some of my parents had friends come out to the tournament and they were very complimentary about the way everything was being handled, so I just wanted to give the guys a shout-out for all their hard work. Great Job, Jamal Johnson, Lady Fever Basketball
"Guys - Thanks for a good league again this year you have done a great job once again. You must be doing something right as I see in an email that I received that the other league now thinks your league is competition as they lowered their price this year for their Jr. high leagues in the winter. LOL But of course that doesn't matter, its you guys that are taking care of the little things and adding your personal touch that makes a difference!
All my parents made comments on how well and organized and especially how on time every Sunday ran. Way to go."
Sandra Bills, Fort Morgan Girls Basketball
"It's AMAZING what you guys do with the scheduling to make it work for everyone. We greatly appreciate it as every player and family on our team is loving every minute of it!"
Jannie Miller, Gillette Wyoming (participant in fall league)
"On behalf of the Longmont Lady Vikings, we wanted to say THANK YOU!! We had the best time riding up in the very cool P2Play van. My girls just thought they were all that and a bag of chips. They didn’t play that way, but again they are only 11 year olds and it’s up and down. They all thought it was too cool. Please pass on our thanks to Bruce, Zach and Dustin who were very gracious hosts!!"
Trudy Acosta, Longmont Vikings
"I have been very impress with the way you run your league. Everything has been extremely professional....The courts/facilities are nice, the officials are good, and your accommodation of our special requests has been fantastic!"
Tory Schwartz/Hickory Huskers, Gering Nebraska
"The fact I received a personal thank you card from you directly after every tournament we played in says enough. While MAYB and Gold Crown care about money, you cared about us". Steve Smith, Fort Collins
"My team just returned from Las Vegas after competing in a National Tournament. Although we had a fabulous time, I was extremely disappointed in the way the "National" tournament was ran. After competing in three of your tournaments this year, I have come to realize that you set the bar too high for the rest of these tournaments to compete with. I anticipated a "Power to Play" atmosphere, only to be let down by facilities, officials, and the professionalism that was demonstrated. The way you run your tournaments is unmatched. Obviously we are from Pueblo, so we spend a reasonable amount of time and money to participate in your tournaments....from UNC at Greeley, to Golden and the School of Mines......but the time and expenses that we incur to participate in your tournaments is worth ever penny! I just wanted to let you know that your program/tournaments have been the best ran/organized that we have ever competed in! See you in at the Preseason Tip Off!"

"Thank you so much for taking the time for speaking with me today about our team at Arickaree. You were very helpful with questions I had about your spring league and other tournaments. I want to say thank you for making our team and I feel welcome and not intimidated. Some of these basketball organizations are a little intimidating and your organizatioin is not and it is so well organized. Thank you for your help and look forward to this weekend". D. Meyers, Arickaree

I must commend you for hosting & running one of the best tournaments in the state (Rocky Mountain Invite) and I've worked 'em from Pueblo to Fort Collins over the years.
