NEW! 5 Tournament Spring/Summer Package!
The fee is $100.00 per day or $150.00 per two day tournament and is required for all teams participating in the tournament. How does this save money? On average, a team pays nearly $300.00 per weekend tournament between all of its fans (parents, sisters, grandparents, etc). In many situations, where there are 4 to a family, as an example, that family alone has had to pay $36.00 over a weekend to watch games. When you multiply this by 8-10 players on a team, the real savings can be seen. Why would we do this and make less money? It’s not about making the most money. It’s about listening to the customers and accommodating their requests and helping our program continue to be the best in the country for youth basketball, and saving money for everyone involved is a big part of that process.
TOURNAMENT/LEAGUE PLAY RULES*updated 10/3, 2011
Click link above for the overview of all tournament and league rules. Rules are consistent throughout all events, regardless of location and strictly enforced to ensure safety and fair play in all of our events.
Age/Grade Verification
All players must be able to verify their age and/or grade level. Each coach must provide a copy of either a players birth certificate and/or identification that verifies current grade level for a player. If a player is questioned and coach is unable to verify, the player is ruled ineligible for play. If a team uses an illegal player, they are automatically disqualified from the tournament.
Bench Decorum and Spectator Code Of Conduct
This code of conduct is strictly enforced to provide a safe, fair, and fun environment for the student-athletes. We actively support the hard work of our officials, and expect the coaches, and spectators to be part of the positive solution and support of youth basketball.
INDIVIDUAL Tournament Admissions
*As of March 21, 2011
Power To Play Sports does not charge individual admissions at tournaments. In an attempt to once again lower costs for teams and families participating, we have implemented a team admission fee at a discounted rate. We will no longer have admission sales at tournaments taking individual payment. Instead, teams participating pay a one-day, or two-day admission team pass fee prior to the tournament. This saves teams at least 50% of the total fees of grandparents, sisters, brothers, and parents watching the games and will have no monitoring throughout the day when people enter the facilities.
Tournament Registration Rules/Refund Policy
Once registration process has been completed, there are no refunds. Teams submitting payment are expected to participate in the event, UNLESS the tournament director cancels the event. Teams choosing not to participate are allowed to transfer the entry to another tournament, but once submitted, no refunds are issued.
